ALL4U UNLI GRILL & SHABU SHABU 2F SM Masinag, Marcos Hiway, Antipolo City Mobile No. 0997 201 74 83 Business Hours: Everyday 10am-9pm Facebook Page |
After much anticipation- well, I frequent the mall so I always see their 'under construction' signage, All4U's SM Masinag branch finally opens its doors to the public! The day they set their grand opening got delayed a couple of times, reaching even months, but now we're finally here!
Here's the breakdown of their unlimited offer!
UNLIMITED GRILL & SHABU SHABU - P599
Beef, Chicken, Shrimp, Pork (not in pic)
Fish Cake, Baguio Lettuce, Side Dishes and Sauces
When ready, they'll bring out your main feast: eat-all-you-can beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, fish cake, and lettuce. You can grill them and dip them in the sauces, wrap them in lettuce, or cook them along with the soup shabu shabu style. The time we were there, the waiters were very pro-active: they don't wait for you to call them to order more. If they see your table to be empty, they'll be the ones to go to you and ask.
Soup, Korean Noodles
VERDICT
Overall, we had a really great time and our tummies gave it a thumbs up. I love how they came up with combining grill and shabu shabu into one concept- usually it's just one or the other. Doing so provided more variety, in turn minimizing the risk of plaguing patrons with a very 'umay' experience.Among the food offered, my favorite was their beef: thinly-sliced, cooks easy, and it almost melts in your mouth! Eat it grilled, with rice, wrapped in lettuce, dipped in red chili paste, or let it cook in the soup- I love it in every way. Their chicken and pork are not to be belittled either- I can tell the raw meat is clean and fresh, and when cooked, you'd expect a little resistance when chewing but they were surprisingly soft and delectable.
The fish cake is a good addition to dispel any oversatiated taste you may have developed while eating a certain meat. It also happens to be a perfect match with the Kimchi Soup. The only thing I didn't eat much was the shrimp- it was good and all, but it was tedious to remove each one of them from their shells. Afterwards, mom shared to me a technique to somewhat resolve that: "cook them in the soup and you'll have an easier time removing the shells". I'll try that next time.
Unlimited Iced Tea, Cold Water, Melona Ice Cream (one per person)
It should also be noted that unlike other grill joints, they use modern-tech infrared electric grills, meaning you can say goodbye to the awful smell of gas and say hello to an almost smokeless cooking. It's convenient too because instead of calling the waiter to assist you in turning the grill on (hi Yakimix), you can easily operate it yourself because the buttons are self-explanatory.
Here are a couple more photos from their grand opening:
